A bantamweight bout between Sumudaerji and Louis Smolka has been added to the UFC Fight Night Beijing card. The latter begins his second stint with the promotion, having previously been signed and then released as a flyweight.

Sumudaerji (10-3) has spent the majority of his career competing under the Wu Lin Feng banner in China. He’s coming off a second round submission loss at the hands of ONE Championship veteran Hao Bin Ma but that setback obviously didn’t dissuade the UFC from signing him up.

Smolka (14-5) made his UFC debut in 2014 and went on to win five of his first six fights for the promotion. The Hawaiian was handed his walking papers after a four fight losing streak but has won three in a row to earn a second shot inside the famous octagon.

Also on the card, Li Jingliang (15-5) now has an opponent. The Chinese welterweight has been matched with David Sawada (16-4), a German who signed with the UFC earlier this year and will be looking to register his first win for the promotion.
