UAE Warriors 7 has a new main event. Ben Adwubi has withdrawn and will be replaced by Mahmoud Hassan who challenges Chi Lewis-Parry for the vacant heavyweight title.

Hassan (1-5) won his pro debut in 2012. But since then the Egyptian has done nothing but lose, getting stopped by the last five opponents he has faced with four of those losses coming in the opening round.

Lewis-Parry (7-0-2-2) scored a stoppage win at Abu Dhabi Warriors 5 in January. The Englishman has never lost a fight, though four of his 11 bouts have either ended in a draw or a no contest.

Both heavyweights are ONE Championship veterans who have been in with Alain Ngalani. But while Lewis-Parry beat him inside a round in the rematch, after their first fight ended in a no-contest, Hassan lasted just 31 seconds against the Cameroonian.

Jesse Taylor has also withdrawn. The TUF and UFC veteran has been replaced by Dan Vinni (16-15), an experienced English fighter who will be facing Lebanon’s Mohammad Fakhreddine in a catchweight contest.

Meanwhile the bantamweight bout between Fabio Mello and Juares Dea is off. There will be 12 bouts on the card and as previously announced Amin Ayoub rematches Youssef Wehbe in a fight which will have the promotion’s vacant lightweight title on the line.
