Way of the Dragon 3 is set for Taiwan on January 12th and will feature TUF China alumni Rocky Lee and Bellator veteran Khai Wu. There are currently 11 fights on the card which will take place at the Taipei Basketball Gymnasium.

The main event sees Lee (4-4) looking to bounce back from his loss to Rex de Lara at RFC Way of the Dragon 2. The Taiwanese featherweight has been matched with Malaysian based English grappler Shaqueme Rock (3-0).

De Lara (8-6) is also on the card but the former URCC title challenger has been handed a tough assignment. He takes on Japanese bantamweight Shunichi Shimizu (32-21-11), a UFC veteran looking to snap a three fight losing streak.

Wu (2-2) recently dropped a split decision on his Bellator debut. He’s been matched with Robert Medella (3-6-1) a Filipino bantamweight who has spent his entire career competing in Hong Kong and China.

There are some experienced fighters on the promotion’s third card. Japanese featherweight Juntaro Ushiku (13-7-1) faces Brazilian Marcio Cesar (20-10-3) while Malaysian welterweight Jian Kai Chee (4-9) takes on Japan’s Kazuma Maruyama (8-5).
