Sung Bin Jo has signed with the PFL. The Korean featherweight was recently released by the UFC.

Jo (9-1) earned his UFC contract on the back of a nine fight winning streak with nine finishes. He won featherweight titles with ACF, Wardog and TFC.

Jo made his debut at UFC on ESPN+ 11 in Stockholm last year but the Korean failed to impress. He dropped a decision to hometown favorite Daniel Teymur in Sweden and was subsequently released.

The PFL has been on hiatus throughout 2020 and does not have a single fight card in the calendar this year. This led some of the fighters on the roster to launch legal action, frustrated by the lack of opportunities to earn money by competing.

The PFL plans to relaunch with a tournament in 2020 that will get underway in April. Jo will be competing in the featherweight division.
