One Pride MMA 42 is set for Jakarta on February 20th. The event will be headlined by an atomweight title fight with Ade Permana making the first defence of his belt against Imam Solikhin.
Permana (6-0) has held the title since 2018 and will be defending it for the third time. He burst onto the scene by beating four of the country’s top 105lbers and will be putting his perfect professional record on the line.
Solikhin (4-2) earned a shot at the belt by winning three fights in a row. However only one of his victories has come at the expense of an opponent with a winning record and he faces a big step up here.
In the welterweight division two of Indonesia’s top 170lbers face off. Rudy Gunawan (9-1) is coming off the first loss of his career and has been matched with Wilem Natalex Munster (5-1) who has won his last two.
In the strawweight division Rio Tirto (3-0) will be looking for his fourth straight win. He has been matched with the experienced Edowar Virnanda (5-4) who has been a pro since 2016 and has won three out of his last four.
