Afghanistan might be in turmoil but the country’s fighters are continuing to make their mark on the international scene. Javid Basharat will finally be fighting on Dana White’s Contender Series this month.

The undefeated Afghan announced on Instagram that he would be fighting Oron Kahlon on October 26th:

Both men have a 100% winning record in their MMA career so, as ring announcers love to say, ‘someone’s 0 will have to go!’. Basharat, who is based in London, saw a fight with DWCS fall through when he was unable to obtain a visa.

With just two weeks until this bantamweight bout takes place it seems Basharat might have only got his paperwork through at the last minute. But the Afghan will be heading to the US where he is hoping to earn a UFC contract with a win over Kahlon.
