Anderson ‘Braddock’ Silva will return to MMA at ONE: ‘Big Bang’ Part II. The Brazilian kickboxer had been booked to face Masoud Safari in a light heavyweight fight.
Silva (3-1) has not competed in MMA since 2018. He is better known for his exploits in the kickboxing world where he has emerged as a star with Glory and the ONE Super Series.
Safari (6-0-1) is one of several new Iranian additions to the ONE Championship roster. This could well turn out to be a title eliminator in the light heavyweight division, although champion Aung La Nsang might be more focused on recapturing his middleweight strap.
Rui Chen (8-1) has won four fights out of five for ONE Championship and will be looking to cement his status as one of the top a Chinese fighters on the roster with a win in Singapore. He faces Iranian Ali Motamed (7-4) in a bantamweight bout.
The other MMA fight on the card pits Tetsuya Yamada (26-7-2) against Jae Woong Kim (10-4). Both men will be looking to bounce back from recent defeats in this featherweight fight.
In flyweight Muay Thai action Taiki Naito takes on Jonathan Haggerty while Nieky Holzken faces Elliot Compton in a lightweight kickboxing bout.
