Anderson Silva suffered another defeat in Singapore tonight. The 35 year old has now lost four ONE Championship fights in a row.
This time the veteran kickboxer dropped a decision to Iraj Azizpour at ONE: ‘NextGen’. There was a lot of respect between the two men but the Iranian never looked like losing:

While Silva’s star is clearly on the wane Azizpour made a lot of new fans tonight. He had originally been scheduled to face reigning light heavyweight kickboxing champion Roman Kryklia and the Ukrainian might feel he has dodged a bullet after watching this fight.
Azizpour was much too fast for Silva, dropping him with a high kick in the opening round. The Iranian seemed to be having fun and had a smile etched across his face.
Next up for Azizpour will surely be a title shot. Meanwhile Silva has now lost four in a row for ONE Championship and faces a long road back to the top.
