The biggest ONE Championship fight of the year is confirmed. It will take place on March 26th with atomweight champion Angela Lee defending her belt against atomweight Grand Prix winner Stamp Fairtex.
The event will take place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium and a full house is expected with fans set to return in force. The event entitled ONE: ‘X’ commemorated the promotion’s tenth anniversary and was originally supposed to take place last December but is now set for March 26th.
Lee (10-2) has not fought since 2019 after taking time off to have her first child. She has never lost a fight at atomweight and will be making the sixth defence of the title she won in 2016.
Stamp (8-1) earned her title shot by winning the atomweight Grand Prix last year. Her sole career defeat came when she got confused and tapped to a loose submission with just seconds remaining in the final round of a fight which she was winning.
Also on March 26th Adriano Moraes will finally make the first defence of his flyweight title. The Brazilian is scheduled to faces Yuya Wakamatsu at the rescheduled event.
Also on that card will be the mixed rules fight between Demetrious Johnson and Rodtang Jitmuangnon. The bout will alternate between Muay Thai and MMA with a different set of rules for each round.
The postponed event is set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium and commemorates ONE Championship’s tenth anniversary. The inaugural event took place in the same venue on September 3rd, 2011.
