The Asian contingent at UFC Vegas 86 has grown with the addition to the card of Aoriqileng. The Chinese bantamweight has been matched with Daniel Marcos at the Apex Centre on February 10th (local time).

Aoriqileng (25-11) is coming off a decision win over Johnny Munoz Jr. at UFC Vegas 80. The 30 year old is one of the most experienced fighters in the bantamweight division but has been matched with an undefeated opponent.

Marcos (15-0) has seen several fights fall through in recent months. He earned his UFC opportunity after winning on Dana White’s Contender Series last year and has two wins to his name since signing the contract.

Official debut

Also representing China on the UFC Vegas 86 card is Shayilan Nuerdanbieke. He will be facing Hyder Amil in a featherweight fight at the Apex Centre on February 10th.

Nuerdanbieke is even more experienced than Aoriqileng with 50 fights to his name. He saw a run of three straight wins snapped by Steve Garcia at UFC 287 recently.

Amil is a Dana White’s Contender Series alumni just like Marcos. The American is an LFA and Bellator veteran and will be making his official debut on February 1oth.

Thai star

The card will also feature Thai star Loma Lookboonmee. The strawweight will be facing Bruna Brasil in the eighth fight of a UFC career which began in 2019.

She has won her last two fights but only got to compete once in 2022. Loma submitted Elise Reed in the second round at UFC 284 but subsequently suffered an arm injury in training which required surgery.

Brasil earned a contract after impressing on Dana White’s Contender Series. Her UFC debut did not go to plan as she was knocked out by Denise Gomes, who Loma holds a win over.
