Cain Velasquez is currently behind bars. The former UFC heavyweight champion is alleged to have shot a man but his former training partner Arjan Bhullar is sticking by him.
Bhullar took to Instagram to pay tribute to Velasquez who he describes as a ‘world class character’:

Bhullar and Velasquez have trained together at AKA in San Jose. The former holds the ONE Championship heavyweight title while the latter is a former UFC heavyweight champion.
According to The Mercury News the former UFC heavyweight king shot at a car carrying several people, one of whom has been accused of molesting a relative of his. He is currently being held in Santa Clara County Main Jail.
Whether or not Bhullar knew about this is unclear. But he is definitely behind his friend and former training partner,
“No matter what the details are once they come out I know everything will eventually make sense because I know the man that he is.”
