The only men to ever win ONE Championship titles in multiple divisions are training together in Florida. Aung La Nsang and Martin Nguyen are both at Hard Knocks 365 to prepare for upcoming fights.
La Nsang is booked to defend his middleweight title against Ken Hasegawa at ONE: ‘A New Era’. Next up for Nguyen will be the second defence of his featherweight belt but the event and opponent have yet to be announced.
La Nsang was born and raised in Myanmar where he had a huge fan following. The 33 year old middleweight and light heavyweight champion is now based full time in the U.S. and recently relocated from Baltimore to Florida.
Nguyen’s parents are Vietnamese but he normally trains and fights out of Sydney in his native Australia. Current contenders for the featherweight belt include Jadambaa Narantungalag and Koyomi Matsushima.
Meanwhile Christian Lee is on another winning streak and has been vocal about wanting a third fight with Nguyen. But the Australian has already beaten him twice and the rematch did not produce much by way of memorable action.
The man in the middle of the photo is Tial Thang. The Burmese bantamweight is preparing for his pro debut at next month’s ONE: ‘Reign of Valor’.
