A bantamweight bout between Ahmad Qais Jasoor and Xie Bin has been added to ONE: ‘Roots of Honor’. The Chinese fighter will be looking to secure his seventh straight win for the promotion at the MOA Arena on April 12th.
Bin (6-1) has won his last four fights by stoppage after going the distance on his first three ONE Championship matches. The 21 year old is one of the tallest fighters in the division and could establish himself as a serious title contender with a win here.
Jasoor (5-1-1) had been scheduled to face Masakazu Imanari at ONE: ‘Eternal Glory’ in January but was unable to obtain the necessary paperwork to fight in Indonesia. This will be the third fight in a row in which he has been matched with a Chinese opponent.
ONE: ‘Roots of Honour’ will be headlined by a featherweight title bout between Martin Nguyen and Jadambaa Narantungalag. Meanwhile Yosuke Saruta defends his strawweight strap against Joshua Pacio.
The card also features the likes of Leandro Issa, Luis Santos and Edward and Eric Kelly.
