Buchecha made it won wins out of two at ONE: ‘Winter Warriors’. The Brazilian needed barely half a round so submit the previously undefeated Kang Ji Won.
One takedown was all it took for the BJJ black belt:

Marcus Almeida only made his MMA debut in September but is already 2-0 with two first round submission wins. This victory was particularly impressive as the Korean was 5-0 coming into the contest with some big names on his resume.
Arjan Bhullar is the heavyweight champion while Anatoly Malykhin is next in line for a title shot. But there are plenty of contenders and Buchecha is working his way towards the top of that list.
Not all BJJ legends make MMA look easy, just ask Yuri Simoes, but Buchecha has taken to the sport like a fish to water. A heavyweight title shot could well be on the horizon for the Brazilian in 2022.
