‘The Korean Zombie’ will fight in his homeland for the first time in over a decade. Chan Sun Jung is scheduled to face Brian Ortega in the main event of UFC Busan on December 21st.

Jung (15-5) has won five out of his last six UFC fights but missed three years due to military service. He is regarded as being one of the most entertaining and exciting fighters on the roster.

The 32 year old signed for the UFC in 2011. He has fought seven times for the promotion and been rewarded with performance bonuses on six separate occasions.

Ortega (14-1) has earned performance bonuses after five of his last seven UFC contests. Like his opponent he has challenged unsuccessfully for the featherweight title in the past.

The American has been out of action since that title shot, coming up short against Max Holloway at UFC 231 last December. It was the first defeat of his entire career.

Ortega is currently the #2 ranked featherweight while Jung sits at #6. This event is set for the Sajik Arena in Busan and will be the UFC’s second card to take place in South Korea,

As previously announced two flyweights will face off when Alexandre Patonja takes on Matt Schnell (13-4). Meanwhile Volkan Oezdemir has been matched with Aleksander Rakic in the light heavyweight division.
