Chi Lewis-Parry will defend his heavyweight title at UAE Warriors 13. The undefeated Englishman will face UFC veteran Fabio Maldanado in Abu Dhabi on September 25th.

Lewis-Parry (8-0-2-2) won the title at UAE Warriors 7 in July of 2019. The Glory and ONE Championship veteran has not fought since then and will be returning after a 14 month absence.

Maldanado (26-14) will be making his promotional debut. He has fought in Asia before, getting stopped by Jiri Prochazka at Rizin 19 and the Brazilian has also been in with the likes of Fedor Emelianenko, Quinton Jackson and Stipe Miocic.

Also on the card is Korean featherweight Gi Bum Moon (10-4). He holds a 2019 win over current UAE Warriors 145lbs champion Do Gyeom Lee and will be looking to earn a rematch with the champion by beating experienced Azerbaijani Agshin Babaev (22-6).

Meanwhile local favourite Abdulla Al Bousheiri (7-1) will be looking to build on his recent win at UAE Warriors 8. The Bahrain born welterweight has been matched with Ireland’s Dean Barry (2-1)
