Bao Yincang has signed with PFL and will make his debut on May 23rd. The Chinese lightweight has been matched with Natan Schulte at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, New York.
Yincang (13-7-0-1) is a Road FC veteran who has spent much of his career competing for CKF in China. He faces Schulte (15-3-1) who has fought six times for WSOF and PFL and won the lightweight tournament in 2018.
Both men will be part of the lightweight division in the league and Peter Murray, CEO of the PFL, explained the format,
“Top fighters from around the world across six divisions will compete in a regular season, playoffs and championship with the opportunity to earn a title and one-million dollars.”
Ray Sefo, President of PFL Fighter Operations, shone further light on the process,
“Every fighter on our roster enters the regular season knowing that if they win and score maximum points they will enter the postseason with a chance to compete for a PFL Championship and $1 million USD,” he said.
