The opening fight of last night’s ONE: ‘Bad Blood’ ended in controversy. Tial Thang landed two low blows and Sunoto was unable to continue after the second.
The Burmese born bantamweight was VERY unhappy with the decision:

But despite Thang’s protests replays seemed to suggest that the referee got it spot on. Although it has to be said that immediately after the second low blow he landed a very solid looking knee to the midsection.
Was it the knee to the groin that did the damage and left Sunoto unable to continue. Or was it the follow up knee which landed smack in the middle of the Indonesian’s stomach?
I guess we will never know but when a fight is decided by low blows like this there really are no winners!
