Deep 101 and Deep-Jewels 33 have been postponed due to the Covid-19 situation in Tokyo. The government recently declared a state of emergency and both events will now take place at the Korakuen Hall on June 20th.
Deep 101 is headlined by a catchweight fight pitting Reina Miura against Yoko Higashi. The fight is set for 141lbs with the former having had some issues on the scales recently.
Also on the card Koichi Ishizuka has been matched with Kosuke Terashima in a bantamweight bout. Meanwhile reigning Deep welterweight champion Ryuichiro Sumimura will be in action in a non title bout against Nao Yoneda.
Deep-Jewels 33 will be headlined by a strawweight title fight between champion Miki Motono and challenger Seika Izawa. In the flyweight division Yukari Nabe has been matched with Mika Arai.
The event will feature the semi finals and final of the atomweight Grand Prix and the full draw has been made. Tournament favourite Si Woo Park has been matched with Saori Oshima,
In the other semi final Hikaru Aono faces off against Aya Murakami who received a bye into the semi finals as her opponent was unable to compete after missing weight. The reserve bout pits Emi Tomimatsu against Mizuki Oshiro.
The new restrictions affect Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Hyogo prefectures. Under the measures, which will remain in place until May 11th, big sporting events can only be held without spectators.
