Hayato Suzuki will be returning to the regional scene in Japan after a largely successful stint with ONE Championship. The strawweight is set to face Ryosuke Kano at Grachan 43 x Brave 22 on March 1st.

Suzuki (20-1-2) has won his last three ONE Championship fights. But he did not compete at all in 2019 and was forced to pull out of a title fight against Joshua Pacio due to a medical issue accord to Bout Review.

He is the former Grachan flyweight champion and will be returning to the Japanese promotion where he made his name. Suzuki’s comeback is set for the Ota City Industrial Plaza PiO on March 1st.

Suzuki has been matched with Kano (7-7) in a flyweight fight. His opponent is the reigning Gladiator 125lbs champion but is coming off back to back decision losses at Pancrase 306 and Pancrase 311.

The event will be headlined by a lightweight fight between Yutaka Ueda (10-6-1) and Atsushi Kishimoto (4-4-1).
