Could the most famous action movie star of all time be set to do battle with the most famous comedian in the Middle East?
Jean Claude Van Damme announced on Facebook that he had accepted a challenge from Mohamed Henedy:
Everyone is familiar with JCVD who starred in legendary 1980s movies like Kickboxer and Bloodsport. For readers outside the Middle East not familiar with Henedy, he is a comedy legend who has a huge online following.
JCVD was supposed to take on Somluck Kamsing in a kickboxing bout which fell through. A pro wrestling match with a comedian might be a better bet for the 60 year old who is better known for playing fighters than actually fighting.
The Egyptian actor is a few years younger but, unlike JCVD, doesn’t appear to have any sort of a background in martial arts. Will this matchup ever materialize?
