Pancrase 323 is set for Tokyo on September 12th. A featherweight fight has been added to the card with Hirotaka Nakada set to take on Ryo Asami.

Nakada (3-1) made his pro debut last year and has managed to fight two times so far in 2021, winning both bouts in under a round. In huis last bout at Pancrase 321 he finished UFC veteran Issei Tamura.

Asami (10-11) also comes into this contest on the back of a good run of recent results. The 36 year old has won his last four and has two wins out of two since returning to Pancrase after an 11 year absence.

As previously announced the event will feature the semi finals of the Neo Blood bantamweight tournament and the final of the Neo Blood lightweight tournament. These will be part of the postlims and the card does not currently have a main event.

In the bantamweight tournament Toshiomi Kazama faces Ryo Tajima. The former has won four straight fights since losing his pro debut in 2020 while the latter scored back to back victories in May.

The other semi final pits Akio Kawakita against Junya Ogawa. The former is fighting out of Tribe Tokyo while the latter represents Brave.

The Neo Blood lightweight tournament winning will be crowned on September 12th. Shin Iraha only booked himself a spot in the final after opponent Kazuki Morii dislocated his shoulder at Pancrase 321.

Uzbekistan’s Dastan Omurzakov progressed in slightly more impressive style. He submitted Kota Shirakawa in the opening round and will be looking to extend his perfect professional record.
