Işfak Seyid showcased his wrestling and grappling game to secure a unanimous decision win over Konstantin Marareskul at ONE Friday Fights 32. The Turkish bantamweight was able to take his opponent down consistently throughout the fight at Lumpinee Stadium.
The action started slowly but the Seyid was able to land a couple of left hands. The Turkish southpaw soon shot for his first takedown and and put Marareskul on his back for the first time in the fight.
It was a position the Romanian would become all too accustomed to. Seyid briefly gave it up in search of a guillotine but was able to effortlessly transition to a takedown and secure a huge slam.

Early takedown
Marareskul had it all to do in the second round but he shook off the first takedown attempt and briefly had Seyid on his back. The 26 year old quickly reversed and secured side control.
The Romanian worked his way up and landed an elbow but ate a straight left immediately afterwards. A lengthy clinch ensued but with a minute remaining Seyid got his takedown although he did spend the remainder of the round trapped in a loose guillotine attempt.
Seyid secured an early takedown in the final round and worked his way into half guard. Marareskul would finish the fight on his back to leave the judges with a ver yeasy decision.
All three scored the fight in favour of the Turk who improve to 5-0. Marareskul drops to 2-1 after suffering the first defeat of his career.

The other MMA fight on the card also featured two undefeated fighters. Ivan Podrugin (5-0) submitted Brett Pastore (3-1) with a guillotine choke in the second round of their lightweight fight.
