John Lineker will be making the first defense of his bantamweight belt at ONE on Prime Video 3. He has been booked to face fellow Brazilian Fabricio Andrade in an event that will take place on October 23rd (local time) at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur.
The event is set for a Saturday morning in Malaysia, meaning that it cam be broadcast live by Amazon Prime on the Friday night in North America. Lineker is a UFC veteran who won the belt by knocking out Bibiano Fernandes earlier this year.
Andrade (8-2) only got his opportunity to fight for ONE Championship because he is based in Thailand and the promotion started using Bangkok as a base for its events during the pandemic. But he has seized it with both hands, winning five fights out of five to establish himself as the #2 contender in the bantamweight division.
By contrast Lineker (35-9) made his name with the UFC where he was one of the most devastating flyweights on the roster but repeatedly struggled to make weight. He has won four fights out of four for ONE Championship and the Brazilian’s last three wins have all come inside the distance.

Middleweight title
Reinier de Ridder will be putting his middleweight title on the line at ONE on Prime Video 3. The undefeated Dutchman has been matched with Shamil Abdulaev who has been handed a title shot on his promotional debut.
De Ridder (13-0) also holds the light heavyweight belt and is a black belt in judo and BJJ. He has won seven fights out of seven since signing for ONE Championship and is arguably the bets pound for pound fighter on the roster.
Abdulaev (13-1) has been competing professionally for a decade but has never fought for a major promotion before. Seven of his 13 wins have come inside the opening round.

Monthly events
These events take place every month and feature some of the biggest names on the roster. In August Demetrious Johnson avenged his loss to Adriano Moraes with a win at ONE on Prime Video 1.
Later this month Xiong Jing Nan takes on Angela Lee for the third time in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 2. After that there are fight cards booked for Manila and Tokyo.
