More fights have been announced for Friday’s Road to ONE 2. The Shooto promoted card will feature a grappling match between veterans Kazuyuki Miyata and Michinori Tanaka,

Shooto released the official poster earlier today on Twitter:

Miyata is a former Dream featherweight title challenger and K-1 Max Japan tournament finalist. He is nearly 15 years older than Tanaka and has been in with the likes of Royler Gracie, Genki Sudo, Kid Yamamoto and Caol Uno.

Tanaka is a UFC veteran and former PXC bantamweight champion. He was last seen in action at Pancrase 303, claiming a decision win over Vladimir Leontyev.

As previously announced the event will be headlined by a grappling match pitting together BJJ black belts Shinya Aoki and Tomoshige Sera. The venue is secret but the entire show will be broadcast by Abema TV.

There are two MMA fights on the card. Former Shooto bantamweight champion Kazuma Sone (23-19-1) faces top Pancrase contender Joji Goto (9-3) and ONE Warrior Series veteran Ryoji Kudo (7-1-1) takes on Asuka Tsubaki (2-1).

Last year Road to ONE: ‘Century’ was co-promoted by Shooto and Pancrase. The card consisted of a mixture of Muay Thai and MMA fights and this appears to be the follow up to that event.
