Another Hawaiian fighter has been added to the Pancrase roster. Newly crowned X-1 bantamweight champion Ricky Camp will be making the journey to Tokyo to face former title challenger Kenta Takizawa.

The bantamweight bout between Camp and Takizawa is the latest addition to the Pancrase 306 card. The promotion announced the matchup on Twitter earlier today:

Takizawa (9-5) was last seen in action at Pancrase 303. He challenged Rafael Silva for the 135lbs belt but was submitted in the opening round by the bantamweight King of Pancrase.

Next up for the Japanese fighter is a bout against a promotional newcomer on June 30th. He faces Camp (11-4) who is riding a six fight winning streak.

Coincidentally Camp’s last loss came at the hands of compatriot Riley Dutro who recently signed with Pancrase. The Hawaiian flyweight dropped a decision to Shohei Masumizu at Pancrase 303.

As previously announced two veteran middleweights will go head to head when Ikuhisa Minowa and Eiji Ishikawa face off. Between them the two men have fought 172 times.

The Pancrase 306 card also features a match between two flyweight veterans with Ryuichi Miki taking on Manabu Inoue. Other fighters in action include JJ Ambrose, Adam Antolin and Toshikazu Suzuki.

The event is scheduled for June 30th at Shinkiba Studio Coast in Tokyo.
