Kiichi Kunimoto has been booked for Bellator 236 in Hawaii. The UFC and Rizin veteran will face Neiman Gracie in Honolulu on December 21st.

Kunimoto (20-8-2) might have been hoping for a spot on the inaugural Bellator Japan card which takes place in Tokyo just a week later. But instead he has been booked to face a famous grappler in Hawaii.

Gracie (9-1) suffered the first loss of his entire career earlier this year. He came up short against UFC veteran Rory Macdonald in a fight which had the Bellator welterweight title on the line.

Kunimoto is also coming off a loss. He was stopped in the second round by Ed Ruth on his Bellator debut, spoiling the momentum he had gained by scoring back to back wins with Rizin.
