Kongklai AnnyMuayThai started his ONE Championship career with a pair of decision defeats. But the 24 year old is back on track after a second round demolition of Paedsanlek PKSaenchaigym.
The catchweight contest headlined ONE Friday Fights 23 at Lumpinee Stadium. Paedsanlek had also lost his first two fights on these events making it a must win fight for both men.
Paedsanlek is a southpaw and landed a body kick at the start of the opening round. It was a cagey start from both men but Kongklai soon attacked with straight punches while his opponent looked to counter with kicks.
Midway through the round the action intensified. Paedsanlek was able to trap Kongklai in the corners only to see the former Siam Omnoi super lightweight champion punch his way out.

Trading punches
They traded punches at the start of the second round and a jab from Kongklai put Paedsanlek down and he was given a count. He would quickly become reacquainted with the canvass, getting dropped by a left hand after a wild exchange.
Kongsak knew he only needed one more knockdown to finish the fight but Paedsanlek decided to fight fire with fire. It made for some thrilling exchanges but the end came at the 2:19 mark.
Kongsak pulled Paedsanlekโs head down and fired off a series of knees. He looked badly hurt, and probably wouldnโt have beaten the count even if the three knockdown rule hadnโt been in effect.
Afterwards a delighted Kongklai was handed a $10,000 USD bonus. He definitely seems to have turned his career around after the back to back decision defeats at the hands of Superball Teeded99.
