Winning streak
Gill started out competing on the regional scene in Canada but would spend much of his career fighting in Asia. He made two appearances at the Super Fight League in India, winning both of those bouts in 2012.
After a seven year absence from competitive fighting he returned in 2019 to win a fight on one of his own cards in Canada, retiring on a three fight winning streak. Gill also fought several times for Dream and was reported to have signed with ONE Championship although he never made his debut.
Since retiring from MMA he has established himself as a well respected member of the MMA community, both as a coach and a promoter. That reputation is in tatters and the 44 year old was in custody this morning with reports suggesting he was set to stay there for several days.
