Kwon Won Il has called out Stephen Loman. The Korean wants a fight with the Filipino who he accuses of being ‘boring’.
Kwon has certainly gone to a lot of effort to try and secure a fight with the Team Lakay representative. As well as accusing him of being scared he also points out that he has already beaten one of Loman’s training partners:

Call out
Kwon is coming off a first round stoppage loss at the hands of Fabricio Andrade. But before that he was on a three fight winning streak that included the victory over Belingon.
Loman has not lost a fight since signing with ONE Championship. But Kwon is adamant that this is the bout to make at bantamweight and addressed the Filipino directly:
“Hey Stephen Loman , I’ll be ready to get in that circle by November or December this year. Are you ready? I know you’ve been calling me out many times in different interviews and I more than welcome your challenge. I will give you the chance to revenge your teammate, Kevin ‘The Silencer’ Belingon’s loss to me. I have nothing but respect to you but I’m the only fighter in ONE Championship that can give exciting fight against you because of your boring style. I make every fights the most exciting no matter what style is against me. Our fight is not only trending in the Philippines, but in Korea also. I know you’re too scared to fight me in Korea so I can go to the Philippines if there’s an event there this year or we can even do it in Singapore. Wherever ONE Championship wants me to be in, I’ll be there. Let’s go. I’ll be waiting for you.”

Top ranked
Kwon is ranked #3 at bantamweight while Loman is #4 so this could be the fight to make. #2 ranked Fabricio Andrade recently announced that he has a fight booked, it could well turn out that he has been handed a title shot.
Former champion Bibiano Fernandes is currently ranked #1 but is coming off a loss to John Lineker and seldom fights more than once a year. That could make a big it between Kwon and Loman very attractive to matchmakers.
Kwon holds a record of 11-4 and has won six out of his ten ONE Championship fights. Loman is 16-2 and is riding a ten fight winning streak.
Is this the match to make at bantamweight? The Korean certainly seems to think so.
