Manny Pacquiao is on holiday again. This time he has brought his entire family but in these romantic photos which he shared on Instagram the former boxer and senator only has eyes for wife Jinkee.

Last month he took a holiday in Japan with his wife and youngest son in the immediate aftermath of his election defeat. He came up short in a bid to become president of the Philippines.

He also launched an NFT collection last week but this month he is on another well deserved break at Germany’s picturesque Titisee lake:

Pacquiao and Jinkee have had their ups and downs. By his own admission the boxer became a hard drinking womanizer when he first started to enjoy success in the ring and was more likely to be found in the casino than the church.

But Pacquiao became more religious and is now a model father and husband who is a role model to millions of Filipinos. The two of them have five children together aged between 7 and 21.

Four of them appear to have accompanied their parents on this family holiday. The two girls, Queenie and Mary, and the youngest son, Israel, were all pictured in Germany as well as their second eldest son Michael:

Notable absentee

Notable by his absence is the oldest son, Emmanuel Pacquiao Jnr. He is hoping to follow in his father’s footsteps by becoming a professional boxer and is currently studying the sweet science in the US.

Last month he participated in his second amateur fight and won by decision. The 21 year old looks to be the only member of the family pursuing a career in professional boxing although it is far too early to know what interests the younger children might eventually pursue.

His father famously started boxing to escape a life of poverty on the streets of General Santos City. The oldest son has grown up in the lap of luxury but it hasn’t stopped him from becoming a decent fighter:

Expensive campaign

Pacquiao spent 12o million pesos ($6 million USD) on his election campaign. Around half of that money came out of the boxer’s own pocket but with an estimated wealth of $220mn USD he can probably afford it.

Pacquiao picked up 3.6 million votes in the recent presidential election. It left him lagging a long way behind eventual winner Ferdinand Marcos Jr but showed that the former boxer is still an immensely popular figure.

He has recently been linked with a comeback. There is a lot of money to be made in exhibition boxing matches and former foe Floyd Mayweather recently announced he would be fighting Mikuru Asakura in Japan.

Whether his political commitments leave him enough time to put together a training camp is unclear. But for the time being Pacquiao is enjoying a family holiday and shared these romantic family pics.
