Moe Htet Aung and Soe Lin Oo were among the winners at ONE Friday Fights 57. The Burmese pair both scored knockouts with the former walking away with a $10,000 USD bonus.
Aung took on Tomoya Maruyama in a catchweight Muay Thai contest set at 140lbs. The Japanese fighter was far bigger and scored an early knockdown after landing a knee to the head.
Murayama was using his height to dominate in the clinch but in the second round Aung started to stand his ground and fire back. Heading into the third the knockdown meant the Japanese fighter was in the lead.
Murayama continued to use his range to land knees and elbows but Aung was swinging punches with all his body weight. The Japanese fighter kept walking into them and with 20 seconds remaining in the fight he went down after a perfectly timed right hand.
The referee started to count but it was clear that Murayama was not going to recover and he called off the fight with ten seconds remaining. Aung walked away with the come from behind win and the $10,000 USD.
CLUTCH TIME 👊 Moe Htet Aung ends it with 10 seconds left!

Second win
Soe Lin Oo needed slightly less time to secure his second win in a row on these cards. His Portuguese opponent, Fabio Reis, holds stoppage wins over Ferrari Fairtex and Sangmanee PKSaenchaigym.
Soi is a lethwei legend and he knocked Reus down in the opening round, stunning him with a stiff jab and then putting him on the canvass with a right hand. The Portuguese fighter never really recovered and looked unsteady as he made his way to the corner.
It was one way traffic in the second round. Once again a stuff jab did the damage, putting Reis down for the second time. He didn’t beat the count and the finish came at the 1:42 mark.
MAN OF STEEL ⚔ Soe Lin Oo KOs Fabio Reis in Round 2!
