ONE: ‘Clash of Legends’ is set for Bangkok on February 16th and will feature a Muay Thai title fight. Nong-O Gaiyanghadao faces Han Zi Hao with the inaugural bantamweight belt on the line.
Nong-O has won two fights out of two in the ONE Super Series, beating Fabio Pinca and Mehdi Zatout. Meanwhile Han Zi Hao has won three fights our of four for the promotion although he will face a significant set up against the multiple time Lumpinee champion.
The Thai is one of the most decorated Muay Thai fighters on the ONE Super Series roster. He won Lumpinee titles in four different divisions and was also a champion at Rajadamnern and a multiple time Toyota Marathon winner.
He holds wins over some of the biggest names of the modern era such as Petpanomrung Kiatmoo9, Singdam Kiatmoo9, Petboonchu FA Group, Sam-A Gaiyanghadao, Saenchai PKSaenchaigym and Saketdao Petpayathai.
By contrast Han was relatively unknown before signing with ONE Championship. He was beaten by Panicos Yusuf in his first fight for the promotion but bounced back to defeat Stergos Mikkios, Ryan Jakiri and Azwan Che Wil.
Han has scored either knockouts or knockdowns in his last three fights and is coming off back to back stoppage wins. He brings a lot of momentum into this title bout at Impact Arena but will be at a significant disadvantage in terms of experience.
