Israeli bantamweight Oron Kahlon missed weight by 4lbs ahead of his fight with Javid Basharat at Dana White’s Contender Series. Having embarrassed himself by coming in well over the limit he then compounded the offence by calling the Afghan a ‘terrorist’.
Basharat took to Instagram to give his account:

Kahlon appears to have subsequently disabled or deactivated all his social media accounts, it doesn’t seem like the Israeli’s insult was well received. The Afghan fighter is 10-0 while his opponent is 16-0 making this a big fight.
A UFC contract could be on the line for the winner. But having missed weight and then made some very offensive remarks it is doubtful whether Kahlon could put on the sort of performance necessary to change Dana White’s mind about him.
Basharat believes Kahlon was looking for ‘a way out’ by missing weight and then insulting him. Things have got personal between these two bantamweights (well one bantamweight and one featherweight) and their fight at the Apex Centre in Las Vegas could be one to watch.
