The first ONE Championship card of 2022 has a date, a name and a main event. Roman Kryklia will defend his kickboxing title against Murat Aygun in Singapore on January 14th.
It is a fight that was originally booked for ONE: ‘Big Bang’ last year. Kryklia is on a ten fight winning streak and will be defending his belt for the second time.
Aygun beat Anderson Silva at ONE: ‘Big Bang’. The fight with Kryklia was rebooked for ONE: ‘NextGen’ this month but will finally be taking place next year.
The venue for ONE: ‘Heavy Hitters’ appears to be the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The promotion has been using this venue to put on behind closed doors events in recent months.
