Roque Martinez has signed with the UFC. The Asian MMA veteran is set to face Alexander Romanov at UFC Vegas 10 this weekend.

Martinez is the Deep openweight champion. He made his name with PXC but has spent the majority of his career competing in Korea and Japan.

The 34 year old holds a 15-5-2 record and is coming off back to back wins. In his most recent outing he stopped Hideki Sekine in the opening round at Rizin 21.

Romanov (11-0) has seen three different UFC fights fall through this year. He was scheduled to face Rogerio de Lima last weekend but the Brazilian tested positive for Covid-19.

Barring any unexpected last minute hitches the undefeated Russian will finally get to make his UFC debut this weekend. The event will take place at the APEX Centre on Saturday night (local time).

Former PXC lightweight champion Frank Camacho (22-9) will also be in action at UFC Vegas 10. The Saipan native will take on Brok Weaver (15-5).
