Saemapetch Fairtex stopped Kaonar Sor Jor Tongprajin in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 30. It was an evening that featured several highlight reel KOs and the bantamweights made sure it finished with a bang.
Saemapetch hadn’t fought at Lumpinee Stadium as much as Kaonar but was a veteran of 11 ONE Championship fights heading into this contest. His opponent was fighting in the smaller gloves for the second time and looking for his first win on these shows.
Gaonar looked to test his opponent’s defences with some heavy punches in the opening exchanges. Saemapetch looked to counter with the straight left against his fellow southpaw.

Action packed
Both men traded body kicks before a jab from Saemapetch stopped Gaonar in his tracks. The former Lumpinee super minimumweight champion was taking an aggressive approach but paid the price after walking into a hard left hand.
Gaonar was down and despite bouncing straight back up he looked hurt. Saemapetch capitalized ruthlessly, driving his opponent back with a four punch combination that ended with a fight finishing left hook.
Gaonar was flat on his back on the canvass wondering what had happened. Meanwhile Saemapetch picked up a $10,000 USD bonus, one of 15 which was handed out during the course of an action packed night of fights.

MMA action
In the MMA action Mukhammadumar Abdurakhmonov earned a decision win over South Korea Lim Gwan-Woo in a catchweight contest. The Uzbek moves up to 1-1 while the Korean drops to 3-1.
Russian welterweight Gadzhimurad Amirzhanov was far more ruthless. He finished Mehraban Farhadi with a first round anaconda choke to take his record to 4-0 while the Iranian drops to 4-1
