For weeks Shinya Aoki and Yoshihiro Akiyama have been telling anyone who would listen that they didn’t like each other. If you suspected that they were secretly friends and were trying to hype the fight then this footage will change your mind.

According to Aoki he has had a problem with Akiyama since the days when they were fighting for Dream. That was over a decade ago but the former ONE Championship lightweight king knows how to hold a grudge.
They got in an altercation at Road to ONE: ‘Sexyama edition’ last year with Aoki having some harsh words for Akiyama. He accused the UFC veteran of ducking him and the two will finally get to settle their differences on Saturday.
The fight is part of the historic ONE: ‘X’ card at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. This one looks like it is definitely going to be a grudge match.
