Suriyanlek Por Yenying beat Rittidet Sor Sommai in the ONE Friday Fights 60 headliner after three action packed rounds. A late knockdown sealed the deal for the 27 year old at Lumpinee Stadium.
In the opening round Rittidet made good use of his reach advantage, keeping his opponent at bay with teeps and kicks. Suriyanlek was looking to land a right hand but found openings few and far between.
It was more of the same in the second round but Suriyanlek started to walk Rittidet down. He walked into a right hand which seemed to stop him in his tracks but seconds later landed an even harder right of his own.
It put Rittidet down for the count and left him with a mountain to climb on the scorecards. His gameplan had clearly been to stay on the outside but he found himself needing knockdowns.

Two bonuses
He set about the task with relish at the start of the third, looking to go toe to toe with Suriyanlek. The change of strategy did not bring the results Rittidet would have wanted as he found himself totally outgunned in the punching exchanges.
With his opponent no longer looking to stay on the outside Suriyanlek unloaded with punches and elbows. Rittidet never gave up but with 30 seconds remaining in the fight he was dropped by another right hand.
Suriyanlek knew he had won but still decided to spend the final few seconds of the fight attacking. The crowd were on their feet and both men were rewarded with 350,000 baht bonuses.
