Two bantamweight bouts have been added to next month’s Shooto 30th Anniversary Tour in Tokyo card. Takumi Tamaru faces Takahiro Ichijo while Hayato Ishii goes up against Guts Takato at the Korakuen Hall on July 15th.

Ishii (11-2-1) will be looking to bounce back after a stoppage loss last September in the exact same venue. He was finished in the first round by Kiyotaka Shimizu at Shooto in Korakuen Hall, suffering only the second defeat of his entire career.

He will be moving up to 135lbs for next month’s fight. The 24 year old has been matched with Takato (2-3) who is also coming off a loss, he dropped a split decision to Daisuke Maekawa on a Shooto card last month.

Meanwhile Tamaru (8-1-1) has been out of action for nearly a year but is coming off one of the biggest wins of his career. He stopped Yosuke Saruta last July, who would go on to become the ONE Championship strawweight champion.

Tamaru and Ishii faced each other in 2017 and fought to a draw. The former is also moving up to bantamweight and goes up against Ichijo (6-7) who will be looking to snap a four fight losing skid.

As previously announced a Japanese veteran will face an up and coming European star at Shooto 30th Anniversary Tour in Tokyo. Former featherweight champion Takeshi Inoue faces Dutchman Duane van Helvoirt at the Korakuen Hall.

Also on the card undefeated Bantamweight prospect Kazuma Kuramoto (5-0) will be looking to make it six wins out of six for Shooto when he faces Tomoya Hirakawa (9-7).
