Takasuke Kume has a new opponent at Pancrase 304. The lightweight champion will now be defending his crown against Brazilian Tom Santos.
Kume (21-6-3) is the reigning lightweight King of Pancrase and had initially been scheduled to face Anton Kuivanen in a rematch. However the Finnish fighter appears to have withdrawn.
In his place stands Santos (11-6) who has been competing in Asia for the past two years and has fought for Road FC, Pancrase, Rizin and Heat. He won the lightweight title with the latter organization earlier this month.
As previously announced Pancrase 304 will feature veteran Emi Fujino who has been matched with Kseniya Guseva in a strawweight bout. Meanwhile Takayo Hashi faces Sidy Rocha for the right to be called flyweight King of Pancrase.
The Pancrase 304 card also contains two notable featherweight bouts. Kyle Aguon takes on Taichi Nakajima while veteran Yojiro Uchimura meets undefeated contender Shinsuke Kame.
