Sterling hails from Long Island just like Bali MMA founders Andrew Leone and Anthony Leone. It sounds like he had a great time on the island and it certainly hasn’t done his career any harm!

Fighters from big promotions like the UFC, ONE Championship, Bellator and Glory have used Bali MMA as a base. The gym has a good reputation and for some of them, like Sterling, there is also the opportunity to catch a few waves on the island’s famous beaches.
