An all Chinese title fight has been added to the UFC 300 card. Champion Weili Zhang will face #9 ranked Yan Xiaonan at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on April 13th.
UFC 300 looks set to be the promotion’s biggest fight card of the year and this is the first title bout to be confirmed. Zhang (24-3) will be making the second defence of the belt she won for the second time.
Xiaonan (17-3) earned her shot at the title by winning two in a row. Zhang had talked about possibly moving up a division to challenge for the flyweight belt on this card but instead finds herself defending her strawweight title against a compatriot.
HISTORY WILL BE MADE! 🏆

Best of the rest
There is no chance that the all Chinese strawweight title match will serve as the headliner. That honour could well go to Conor McGregor who is hoping to finally fight Michael Chandler on this card.
While fans will be awaiting updates about the Irishman there are four other fights confirmed. In the lightweight division Charles Oliveira (34-9-0-1) meets Arman Tsarukyan (21-3) in a title eliminator.
Former light heavyweight champion Jiří Procházka (29-4-1) has been matched with Aleksandar Rakić (14-3). Former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling (23-4) is now campaigning at featherweight and has been matched with Calvin Kattar (23-7).
