Wu Yanan will be looking for her second straight win inside the Octagon on May 11th. The Chinese flyweight has been booked to face Luana Carolina at UFC 237.
Yanan (10-2) is coming off a decision win at UFC Fight Night 141. While she had the Chinese fans firmly behind her in Beijing, the 22 year old can expect a much more hostile reception in Rio de Janeiro.
Her opponent Carolina (5-1) is a promotional newcomer but has not lost a fight since 2015. The Brazilian earned a UFC contract on the back of an impressive performance at Dana White’s Contender Series last year.
UFC 237 will be headlined by a strawweight title fight between champion Rose Namajunas and challenger Jéssica Andrade. The card also features Brazilian legends Anderson Silva and Antônio Rogério Nogueira.
