Rizin Trigger 3 is set for the Musashino Mori Sports Plaza on April 16th. There are currently three fights on the card including a lightweight bout between Yusuke Yachi and Luiz Gustavo.
Yachi (23-12) challenged for the lightweight title in his most recent bout. He was beaten by Brazilian champion Roberto de Souza at Rizin 33.
He has been matched with another Brazilian here. Gustavo (10-2) has missed two years, presumably due to being unable to travel to Japan, but already holds a win over Yuchi from Rizin 12 in 2018.
Also on the card is a featherweight fight pitting Kazumasa Majima (14-3) against Masanori Kanehara (28-14-5). The former is coming off back to back Rizin losses while the latter won his most recent bout for the promotion.
In the bantamweight division Yuto Hokamura (14-11-2) takes on Kazuma Kuramoto (9-2). Both men were eliminated from the recent Rizin bantamweight Grand Prix.
