Abdul Azim Badakhshi will be back in action at Matrix Fight Night 8. The Afghan featherweight is set to face Fabricio Oliveira in the main event.
The event is set for Delhi on April 1st. Badakhshi (12-3) is coming off a win over another Brazilian fighter at Matrix Fight Night 7 last December.
Oliveira (12-8-1) has plenty of times experience competing on the domestic scene in Brazil but this will be his first time fighting in Asia. He made his debut in 2009 and has been a professional mixed martial artist for over a decade.
Also in the featherweight division Dhruv Chaudhary (14-7) has been matched with Sanjeet Budhwa (6-2). At lightweight Srikant Sekhar (6-5-0-1) takes on Afghanistan’s Zahoor Shah (1-0)
