Adriano Moraes will finally make the first defence of his flyweight title. The Brazilian is scheduled to face Yuya Wakamatsu at the rescheduled ONE: ‘X’ which is not set for March 26th.
Moraes (19-3) scored a stunning second round knockout of Demetrious Johnson at ONE on TNT last April. He first won the flyweight title in 2014 but has lost it and recaptured it twice.
All three of the Brazilian’s losses have come by way of split decision. He faces Wakamatsu (15-4) who lost his first two ONE Championship bouts but is now riding a five fight winning streak.
Also on that card will be the mixed rules fight between Demetrious Johnson and Rodtang Jitmuangnon. The bout will alternate between Muay Thai and MMA with a different set of rules for each round.
The postponed event is set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium and commemorates ONE Championship’s tenth anniversary. The inaugural event took place in the same venue on September 3rd, 2011.
