A bantamweight bout between Al Qaisi and Siyovush Gulmamadov has been added to the UAE Warriors 20 card. The event is set for the Jiu Jitsu Arena in Abu Dhabi on June 19th.
AlQaisi (8-5) is coming off an unsuccessful UFC stint, going 0-2 inside the octagon. The Jordanian had previously fought for Middle Eastern promotions Desert Force and Brave.
Gulmamadov (3-3) tasted victory at UAE Warriors 7 and UAE Warriors 8 but is coming off a split decision loss to Victor Nunes at UAE Warriors 14. The Tajik bantamweight is based in UAE and has spent his entire career competing in the Middle East.
As previously announced former UFC flyweight challenger Ray Borg will be in action at UAE Warriors 20. He has been matched with Jesse Arnett in a bantamweight bout.
Also on the UAE Warriors 20 card is a welterweight fight between PFL veteran Handesson Ferreira and up and coming Georgian prospect Amiran Gogoladze.
PFL and Bellator veteran Andre Fialho takes on Sang Hoon Yoo in a welterweight fight. At middleweight Mohamad Osseili has been matched with Wilfried Edmund.
In the lightweight division undefeated Irishman John Mitchell takes on Glory and Kunlun veteran Arbi Emiev. Undefeated South African Zaakir Badat faces Turkey’s Ercin Sirin in a light heavyweight fight.
