Amir Aliakbari has been booked to fight Kang Ji Won at ONE: ‘Fists of Fury’ Part II which is set for the Singapore Indoor Stadium and will be broadcast on March 5th. It will be the Iranian’s first fight for the promotion.
Aliakbari (10-1) is a Rizin veteran and his only loss came at the hands of Mirko Crocop. He signed with the UFC but the contract was rescinded after the US government announced sanctions against Iran.
Won (3-0) fought on the ONE: ‘Unbreakable’ Part II card but the show won’t be broadcast until Friday. He had won three fights out of three in Korea prior to that bout.
The co-main event is also a heavyweight fight featuring a promotional newcomer. Anatoly Malykhin (8-0) takes on Alexandre Machado (9-3), the Russian holds a notable win over Jake Heun while the Brazilian hasn’t fought since 2018.
