A welterweight fight between An Kyeong Jun and Yoo Sang Hoon has been added to the AFC 14 card. The event is set for Paju on August 17th.
Hoon (5-1) made his international debut at Dana White’s Contender Series last year. It didn’t go according to plan for the 30 year old who suffered the first defeat of his career.
With wins at AFC 4, AFC 5, AFC 6 and AFC 7 he remains one of the best fighters on the promotion’s roster. For this fight the Busan Team Mad representative will be returning to welterweight.
Kyeong Jun (2-3) is coming off a decision win at AFC 11 last year. That victory over Jae Young Ahn snapped a three fight losing skid for the Cheonan MMA representative.
As previously announced the event will be headlined by an interim middleweight title fight between Kim Jae Young and Cha In Ho. It will be the first show Angel’s Fighting has put on since coronavirus, or Covid-19, put a halt to all sporting events in Korea.
